With Music in Mind is an innovative service offered by The Amber Trust. It aims to enable blind or partially sighted children with neurodegenerative disease to engage with music by providing families and professionals with resources and ideas for music-making.

We have created 38 activity cards to help you engage with your child through music. These resources that can be viewed online or downloaded. These are FREE and open to all families and professionals worldwide.

With Music in Mind Music Awards
With Music in Mind offers a Music Awards scheme, available to families in the UK who have a child who is visually impaired and has neurodegenerative disease, such as Batten disease.
Families involved in the scheme will receive a resource pack in addition to one-to-one musical support from a music practitioner. To find out if you are eligible for the scheme and to apply, please go to the With Music in Mind site and use the online registration form.

In addition to the website, we have printed 38 colourful activity cards. They include over 150 ideas for everyday musical activities that parents or carers of a visually impaired child with neurodegenerative disease can do.
