The Amber Trust is excited to confirm tickets are now on sale for the charity’s spectacular Annual Concert on May 15.

This year’s event will once again be held in the Wathen Hall at St Paul’s School in Barnes and will showcase the talents of some of Amber’s most talented beneficiaries.

The Amber Trust was created to support blind and partially sighted children in the UK, including those with additional disabilities, to meet their musical aspirations and fulfill their potential.

Amber’s Annual Concert plays a vital role in providing some of those children with the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience – sometimes for the first time.

Last year, beneficiaries from across the country performed a diverse selection of music written by the likes of Coldplay, Queen, Leonard Cohen, Hoagy Carmichael and J.S Bach.

There was also a unique musical collaboration with the Global Leaders Programme, which saw the performance of two specially commissioned ensemble arrangements.

“After the success of last year’s annual concert, we are so much looking forward to welcoming the talented musicians we support back to the Wathen Hall,” said The Amber Trust’s chief executive officer Angela Voyajolu. “It is sure to be another incredibly inspiring event.”

The two-hour spectacular was broadcast live on the internet thanks to Parky TV and first-time streaming sponsors Caterlyst. Recordings of the show have been viewed more than 2,000 times via Amber’s YouTube channel.

Tickets for this year’s concert cost £20 (concessions £10) and are available now to purchase via the Ticket Tailor website.
