The Powell Family Foundation has awarded The Amber Trust with a grant supporting our Little Amber services for the next two years.
This support will have a significant impact on our work in providing musical opportunities for blind and partially sighted children, including those with additional disabilities.
Little Amber supports babies and children from the ages of 0-5, including children with more complex needs. Families on our Little Amber scheme will receive a set of starter percussion instruments and activity cards, as well as regular home visits with a specially trained practitioner.
The Powell Family Foundation aims to support children and young people with a vision impairment up to the age of 25. The Foundation accomplishes this through the provision of grants to individual children and young people, in addition to charities and not-for-profit organisations that fall in line with the organisation’s vision and aims.
