One day to go: Fundraisers warm-up for Amber’s Annual Concert and more.

Sunday will not be a day of rest for The Amber Trust as fundraisers will be out in force in the UK and abroad.

St Paul’s School in Barnes will play host to the Trust’s Annual Concert as we showcase the abilities of some of our most talented beneficiaries.

Patron Derek Paravicini hosts the event and had the perfect warm-up on Wednesday as he appeared in concert with his quartet at the Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square – in aid of Breast Cancer Haven.

And violinists Poppy McGhee and Lilly Kurata were able to rehearse together last week as they prepare to appear three times each in a packed programme in The Wathen Hall.

The show will be streamed live on the internet here – 2021 Amber Trust Annual Concert – YouTube – thanks to sponsor Caterlyst and Parky TV. It starts at 3:30pm.

On the same day, Ascot academic and marathon runner Dan Hough will be pounding the streets of Germany’s capital on behalf of the Trust at the Berlin Marathon.

Hough, who is hoping to better his personal best time of four hours, eight minutes for 26.2miles, has already raised close to £600. He would love a few more pennies – preferably pounds – to make the pain even more worthwhile.

Please visit Dans Virgin Money Giving page to show your support.

Tickets for Sunday’s Annual Concert 2021 are still available and can be booked online via buytickets.
