Congratulations to AmberPlus recipient Kitty, who has become the first Amber student to be awarded a Trinity Award in Musical Development, which she passed with distinction!
Kitty’s mum Haleh told us “Sarah’s sessions have been one of the most important parts of Kitty’s development over the years. We found that it has greatly helped with her speech and language, understanding and musicality”.
Music practitioner Sarah added “Working with Kitty and her family since Kitty was just 18 months old has been such a delight. It has been a real privilege watching Kitty develop new skills – both musically and with wider communication – and we have a lot of fun! The whole family uses music with Kitty, and it’s clear to see how important this is for her and her ability to interact and communicate with those around her”.
Trinity’s Awards and Certificates in Musical Development are industry-first, innovative qualifications, developed in association with Amber’s sister charity, Sounds of Intent. The awards set a new standard for fully-accessible, inclusive music assessments, available to all music learners.
