Tim is an experienced IT consultant and respected gadget pundit with over 30 years’ expertise in Apple technology, networking, and cybersecurity. After his daughter lost her sight due to a brain tumour, Tim developed a deep commitment to accessibility, focusing on helping and innovating to make technology more inclusive and empowering for blind and partially sighted users.
Known for his logical and methodical approach to problem solving, Tim applies these skills not only in IT but also in wider challenges, helping to find practical and effective solutions.
As the parent of a blind daughter, who is currently Chair of The Amber Trust Youth Board, Tim brings valuable lived experience and a unique insight into the life-changing role music can play in building confidence, independence, and joy.
Passionate, forward-thinking, and solutions-driven, Tim is dedicated to using his technical skills, strategic perspective, and personal experience to help The Amber Trust inspire and empower visually impaired children and young people across the UK by unlocking their potential through music.
