Silvy Weatherall used her fantastic singing voice to fundraise for Amber. Joining forces with Derek Paravicini, they recorded a fantastic jazz CD of George Gershwin and Cole Porter songs, which, to date has made an amazing £6,000 for the charity. What an inspiring pair of fundraisers!

Going strong at 80 for Amber
After hearing Ronnie Corbett’s moving BBC Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Amber, 80-year-old David Forest kindly donated the proceeds of his one-man show ‘ Three Ages of Me’ to the charity. His stunning performance included amusing anecdotes, stories and songs he has written about three important stages of his life – his 20s, 50s and his 80s.

Inspired by Katie Johnson, one of Amber’s Event’s committee members, Robert and Lesley Dolman organized a day of tennis at Wimbledon, which not only raised funds for the charity, but also helped to raise our profile.
Holly’s helping hand
